Filtration, in detail

Five filtration stages. Outside air, made clean and breathable.

Air is drawn in from outside and passed through five filtration stages in sequence, each removing a different category of pollutant, before being delivered into your home or office.

Nylon pre-filter

Filters hair, debris, insects, and other large particles before they reach the finer stages.

Aluminium mesh filter

Filters heavy dust particles, protecting the finer filtration stages downstream.

Pre-filter

Filters PM10-size particles and dust before air reaches the HEPA stage.

HEPA filter

Filters fine PM2.5 particles — the pollutant category most linked to respiratory harm.

Carbon filter

Filters VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and gases, and reduces odour, before the purified air is delivered indoors.

Installation

The unit stays outside. Only a vent shows indoors.

Every Kair unit is mounted in an exterior space — a balcony, an external wall, or a shaft — and connects to your rooms through a single discreet inlet vent.

A discreet circular vent is fitted into an interior wall, delivering fresh filtered air directly into the room.

Window vent

Where a wall vent isn't practical, the inlet can instead be fitted within the window frame.
