Product & Performance
What makes Kair different from a regular room air purifier?+
A room purifier only cleans the air already inside the one room it sits in, recirculating it repeatedly. Kair instead draws in fresh outside air, filters it through 5 stages, and delivers it across your entire home or office from a single unit — so every room stays fresh, not just one.
Which model do I need — Kair 2000 or Kair 3000?+
It depends on your property's carpet area. Kair 2000 covers up to 2000 sq. ft., and Kair 3000 covers up to 3000 sq. ft. Share your property size through the "Get a Quote" form and our team will confirm the right fit.
Does Kair really keep indoor AQI under 20?+
Yes — Kair is designed to maintain indoor AQI under 20, regardless of how severe the outdoor AQI gets, through its 5-stage filtration process drawing in and purifying outside air continuously.
Does Kair help control CO₂ levels indoors, not just particulate pollution?+
Yes. Closed, recirculated rooms build up CO₂ as people breathe, and indoor air quality is widely judged against the Pettenkofer number — a benchmark of 1,000 ppm CO₂ set by German hygienist Max von Pettenkofer in 1858, still used today as the line between "good" and "poor" indoor air. Because Kair continuously brings in fresh outside air rather than recirculating what's already in the room, it keeps CO₂ levels well within this limit — avoiding the stuffiness, fatigue, and poor concentration that build up in sealed, recirculated spaces.
Is Kair noisy?+
No. Kair 2000 operates under 50 dB, and Kair 3000 under 55 dB — and since the unit is installed outside your living space, even less sound is noticeable indoors.
How much electricity does Kair consume?+
Both Kair 2000 and Kair 3000 consume a maximum of 160 watts — comparable to a couple of standard household fans running continuously.
Installation
Where does the Kair unit get installed?+
Always in an exterior space — a balcony, an external wall, or a shaft. The unit never sits inside your living or working area.
Do I need any construction or internal ducting done?+
No. Kair does not require internal ducting. A single discreet inlet vent — fitted either in a wall or within a window frame — is all that's needed to bring fresh air indoors.
Can Kair be installed in a rented home or office?+
In most cases, yes — since installation doesn't require internal ducting or major structural changes. We'd still recommend checking with your landlord or society/RWA before installation, particularly for exterior wall mounting.
How long does installation take?+
Installation typically takes approximately 4–5 hours. In some special cases, depending on your property's layout, it may take a little longer.
What does the client need to do before the unit is installed?+
Simply provide an electricity point at the location our engineer recommends during the site visit. Our team assesses your space first and advises exactly where this should be set up ahead of installation day.
Maintenance & AMC
What's included in the AMC?+
Every Kair purchase includes a 1-year Annual Maintenance Contract covering scheduled filter changes and regular servicing every 45 days — so performance is maintained throughout the year, not left to guesswork.
What happens after the 1-year AMC ends?+
You can renew your AMC in either a 1-year or 2-year package, whichever suits you better. Renewing keeps everything trouble-free — scheduled filter changes and servicing continue exactly as before, with nothing for you to track or manage yourself.
How often do filters need to be changed?+
Filter changes follow a fixed schedule as part of your AMC, alongside servicing every 45 days — our team handles this for you, so there's nothing to track yourself.
Is there a way to earn a free AMC?+
Yes — refer Kair to 3 people, and once all 3 referrals convert into a purchase of any Kair model, you get your next year's AMC completely free. Ask our team for details when you get in touch.
Pricing & Purchase
Why isn't pricing listed on the website?+
Pricing depends on your property size, model, and installation type, so we provide a personalised quote rather than a fixed listed price. Bulk and partnership pricing is also available on request.
Do you offer bulk or corporate pricing?+
Yes — for builders, developers, corporate offices, and other bulk buyers, reach out through the "Get a Quote" form and mention your requirement; our team will follow up with tailored pricing.
What's the difference between "Get a Quote" and "Call Me Back"?+
"Get a Quote" is for sharing your details online so our team can prepare a tailored quote. "Call Me Back" is for those who'd simply rather speak to someone directly — just leave your number and a good time to call.
